Just got a new plant it has what i think is a bulb or nut on the roots do i keep the bulb or remove it

Love it. It can foliar absorb nutrients but I've seen better results with nutrients at the roots. That bulb will get squishy so be careful not to mess with it too much. Good luck!
 
I think you will find the bulb will gradually disappear, as it is the source for the growth. It will then produce a new bulb for it's dormancy period.
 
^ +1 to this. I've seen this happen and wondered why the bulb disappeared, you typing this just made it clear. Whoa that rhymed!
