I've had this tank in my 30 gallon for years and it's just recently started to flower. Why has it suddenly started flowering now.

Unfortunately the flowers pretty much get eaten straight away by my angelfish. I added more fish a few months ago, but that's it

It's good to hear your angelfish are getting a varied diet?! Mine are not too bad on plants but will have a go at them.
