setting up CO2

You can run it to a powerhead. It is a technique referred to as misting. It is very effective for getting co2 into your water column, but it can also cause water clarity issues as there will be millions of micro bubbles in your water column.
 
I don't like those bulky in tank reactors. If you want it in the tank I suggest a ceramic glass diffuser. If you are running a canister filter, you can build an inline co2 reactor for about $10 and 30 minutes of your time.
 
Never personally used one but I am sure it would work out fine. You could get a ceramic/glass diffuser on eBay for less, and they would be smaller and look better in the tank IMO.
 
Gla has a couple glass. Diffusers that look like flowers.. there pretty nifty, ordering one later this week hopefully. I figure put it under my hob output and call it a day..
