i bought a giant hairgrass plant, and some wisteria. i have a AQUA-GLO 18,000 k, 40 watt, t8 bulb, and the tank is a standard 55 gallon. and i was wondering if this would produce enough light for them to flourish? i have nothing but a laterite gravel bed, and i feed them a plant solution once a week, and im supplamented with homemade co2. im sure the hairgrass would grow, considering its a medium light plant, but if its enough, which species of plants could i grow in the tank?

Not enough light, unfortunately. I have 2x 34 watt T8s on a 55 gallon, and I'm low light. Wisteria, maybe--though mine isn't growing fast at all. Hairgrass, I think, is more of a medium to high light plant. They'll probably survive, but I doubt they would flourish.
