Zoo med ultrasun and dwarf hair grass?

Just wondering if anyone has tried growing dwarf hair grass with zoo med ultrasun 65k cfls? I'm looking for some foreground plants to add to my 10 gal.

Just flourish and excel. Also have root tabs on hand.

Root tabs are definitely a good idea, since DHG is known to have an intensive root system. 20W's should put you into medium lighting, which should be ok. Does your fixture have any reflectors?

Yea there's two metal plates behind the bulbs.

It will probably be an uphill battle. DHG like CO2 and high light more than other foreground plants.

I've heard that HC responds will to Excel. Marsilea minuta is a nice medium light foreground, although it grows slow. Staurogyne might also be worth looking at.

Thanks. It does seem like HC could do well in my tank. Seems like a good candidate.
