The bichir isn't exactly new but I've been struggling with algae blooms aND this is the first time I've gotten to enjoy his presence in my tank. The blood parrots we just got and they're awesome. They'll take food right out of my hand. My sailfin Pleco is in one of the pictures too.

He's about a foot long. Marbled bichirs are one of the smaller species he won't get much bigger. They're all in a 75G but we intend to upgrade to a 200 when the parrots get bigger

He's very cool

I keep a 38 and 29 , all of my fish are small

My biggest currently is my Betta but my bristle nose pleco will outgrow hom

Thanks I intend to get a few more aquariums in the future but for now I have too many peto once my three lizards are gone I probably primarily stick to fish. They're all old one is going on nine years now. I'm hoping to do a 40 gallon brackish tank with a dragon goby and dwarf puffer and another large tank with a spotted gar but that's about eight years away.

Unless that's a 120 gal+ tank that bichir is going to suffer
