I have a 250g with triggers puffers eels a lion wrasse and an emperor angel. I did a 25 percent water change this past weekend and now everybody is acting slow and less active. Nitrates are a little high around 20. How do I lower them?

Just check your levels and water changes. Repeat until levels are <5

You can drying adding phosbane I beleave it's called API makes it's it's a filter media somewhat like carbon. Also have u recently moved your rock around all those fish can be very messy eaters there might be a pile of gross food under a rock. I think Chemi pure mightake a type of media to absorb it at well

Try adding* not drying adding sry big fingers little buttons

Water changes will bring down your trates
cheating with chem will only cause more issues IMO
bigger fish require more frequent water changes
cause people tend to over feed bringing up the trates

How old is the tank?
How big of a water change?
Hows your ammonia reading?if you have an API test kit, I would take a water sample to ur LFS, my API saltwater test kit wasn't as accurate as their kit was(probably due to the fact that those kits sit for a while and could go bad)
