So right now I have 2 inches of crushed coral. It's been in my tank for 4 years, I was thinking about switching to a fine sand. What should I do? There is sand at my LFS that they sell.

I would replace a bit at a time... maybe a 1/4 of the tank then wait a week then do another 1/4... just so you know it will get very cloudy... Rinsing your sand first should help.

Well it already is live and stuff. The LFS hast a 200 g tank with 2-3 ft of live sand so I don't need to rinse it. I figured using PVC and a funnel would help with cloudyness

If you take the lfs's sand won't you get the nasties that will get stirred up when they remove it? i know I always start with fresh sand when moving tanks to avoid the nitrate spikes.

Okay... I would still not change more then half at a time... are you going to take anything out of the tank? some of the more sensitive stuff might not do well with a sudden change.
