Beginner looking for advice

Hey guys I just got my tank about a month ago. I was shopping around at petco cause I was bored and there was an entire fish tank kit for $95 bucks and I was like hey this could be fun. I brought it home set everything up and let the water filter for a few days and now I have 5 mollies and 2 platys living healthy in the 29 gallon tank. After about 2 weeks The water became cloudy for 4 or 5 days and then all of a sudden the water was crystal clear almost over night. I was wondering if this was normal or what??

Maybe a bacteria bloom. You should read up on fish in cycle because right now that's what your doing. Your preparing your tank for fish with... Well... Fish in already. I've done it, people do it. It can be done.

I would get an api master test kit and test water frequently the first couple months.
