Complete Novice

I'm new to this and I've just ordered a 60L tank with everything I need apparently off of eBay. I've also got some gravel and decoration stuff on its way.

Any advice on starting up and good fish for beginners with this size tank would be greatly appreciated,

Welcome! A great beginner fish in my opinion is the zebra danio.
