Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hello folks! Just wanting to say hi and introduce myself a bit. I'm from Richmond Hill, Ontario - not sure how many other Canadians are on these forums. I recently was given a 30 gallon tank which I've set up as a basic tropical aquarium. It has water in it and I added bacterial starter on the weekend, so now I'm waiting a few more days before adding my first few fish to get the cycle moving. That is the process recommended by me at the local fish store, and they guy seemed to know what he was talking about at least.
We'll probably will start with a few guppies or possibly angelfish, we'll see. I'd also like to add some plants but I don't have proper lighting yet. Anyway I'm sure I'll be relying on this site as big resource in the future. Thanks!
