Hey all!
Awesome community, I've read advice on here a number of times, finally made an account to participate. I have had various fish since I was a kid (best birthday present ever!). My favorite was a blue gill I had for a while, who learned to take dried shrimp from my hand and was very friendly. He eventually went back to live in a high school science teacher's classroom. I've ventured around various freshwater setups, and have recently settled into south american cichlids. I love how active they are, plus their vibrant colors and shimmery blue highlights.
