Hi everyone,
I am new to all this, I have a tropical tank which has been set up for approx 5-6 weeks with 5 female platys and 1 male+ 3 female mollies.
I have tested my water today to find it’s completely full of nitrites and nitrates, I completed a 50-60% water change treated the water and things have improved a good bit. I think the reason this has happened is due to the recent course of white spot treatment only completed and the filter sponges had been removed until earlier today.
Hopefully we can get back on track quickly as I was hoping to rescue some fry from one of the platys that I think is pregnant.
