Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hi,
I'm new to the site(duh). Been the aquarium hobby for a real long time. Probably close to 45 years. Was partners in a pet shop for 20 years. Sold out 10 years ago. Stayed in the hobby though. But the hobby has rapidly past me by. My tanks all have UG filters in them, with assorted other filters(canister, powerheads through the UG's,hang on the back power filters, etc.
I want to update my thinking on the hobby. My marine aquarium is a disaster, it has UG's through powerheads, and a 40 gal. wet/dry under it. It has the tank that hangs on the back with the U-shaped tube to siphon the water. It loses suction every 3rd day. That's frustrating. I want to learn what has passed me by.
