Aquaclear hob filter for saltwater

I am just trying to switch my 75 g tank to saltwater from freshwater and wondering if I can use my aquaclear 110 filter or if I should switch to a canister filter. I have an instant ocean hob skimmer and I’m just doing sand, live rock, and beginner fish like damsels, clowns, etc. Any advice would work as I’m very new to this and don’t want to waste money buying things I don’t need.

I don't keep salty tanks, but I watch several YouTube channels in which the hosts use Aquaclears on their marine tanks. I think you should be fine, though I might put two 110s on a saltwater 75.

You can definitely use it! Like barliman said I’d use 2 on a sw tank. Just make sure to clean the sponges frequently
