cracks in the top frame

I have never seen that before but I would be VERY concerned. the only way that happens is if your tank is putting too much pressure on them. The frame is a structural element of the tank.
 
Whoa, I've never seen that before but it'd scare the **** out of me if I had it happen. If circumstances permit, I would replace the tank before something even worse happens.
 
I would definitely be concerned. The tank needs that brace for structural integrity. I would put your fish in buckets and coolers, drain the tank, and remove it from the stand. Make sure your stand is solid, flat, and level before you put the tank back in place. Something had to flex for the tank frame to break like that.
