dusty water

I just set up my tank for the pre-setup stage...checking for leaks etc...and it has been running for 3 days now and my water looks "dusty". I have a 72 gallon running on a Rena Filstar XP3. I have two filter pads, filter floss, and a micro filter currently in the canister....I can only imagine that it would get worse once I add everything else...is this common??? What can I do to get crystal clear water???

Nothing in the tank so far? Carbon for a couple days clears up a tank very quickly.

Replace the floss and maybe give some thought to replacing some of the other media with floss until you get the substrate "mist" out of the tank.
