Fluval leaking!

So I have spent three days now trying to get my fluval 305 canister to stop leaking. I purchased it used, and at that time it was sealed no problem. Once I got home and took it apart to clean, then put it back together it started leaking from the handles. Took it to the aquarium shop today and they looked at it and recommended a new o ring. He also showed me how to correctly close it. Once I got home I lubed the rings where the hoses go in, as well as lubed the new o ring and put it on. Still leaking! Much less, but now it is dripping from under the right handle. What other issues could it be?

Not sure but a quick Google search shows this to be an issue...
