Lighting for 37 gallon tall

I am in the process of slowly bring back to life my old 37 gallon tall aquarium. I decied I want to do live plants this time around and I need a little advice on whihch lighting I should use.

Amazon.com: 30 Inch Solar T5 Ho Aquarium Light - 2 X 24 Watts: Pet Supplies

or

Amazon.com : Aquatic Life Light T5 HO 2-Lamp Link Fresh Aquarium Light, 30-Inch : Pet Supplies

I do plan on using a co2 pressure system. That's probably going to be my next project.

Question: have you considered LED? A lot of people on this forum have favorable reviews pertaining to the Finnex Ray2 and the Finnex Planted Plus. No bulbs to replace, less power consumption, slim design, and from what I hear more longevity.

Actually no I did not and a quick google search of the Finex Planted Plus found it is on sale on amazon.

Amazon.com : Finnex FugeRay Planted+ Aquarium LED Light Plus Moonlights, 48-Inch : Pet Supplies

I guess the next question I have is LED affected by a glass lid?
