need help with new cpr bak-pak dual pak with accela pump

just got it today for sweetie pie's tank.

ive got the noisy air tubes quieted down by using air stones as silencers.

weve got micro bubbles and bubbles in the tank. how do i fix this problem?

ive looked at the bubble traps but they mostly seem intended for bak-pak 2s

i dont really feel the need to keep the bio bale that comes with it but it is currently installed.

any help would be great.

thanks.

I have the bak-pak rated for a 60 gal. And had the same problem. Nothing I tried really worked, I tried raising the output tube so part of it was out of the water, helped a little but not much. The bubbles will eventually stop, but it took almost two months!! I tried covering the output with a porous sponge, bad idea, skimmer box overfilled and I almost had a flood!
