Overflow Output Leaking

Hey All. I've finally got my 75gal aquarium set up and I'm ready to fill it. I have one problem though. The output from the built-in overflow is leaking (tube on the left.) We made a new gasket and my husband tightened it best he could, but it still has a slow leak. Any suggestions? Could we use aquarium safe silicone? Thanks!

Buy a new gasket it goes on the inside. Clean the inside glass . I had a little leak found the glass under the gasget had glue on it. A little safe lub under the gasket helped me.
