Rena Canister filter use with Loc Line?

I want to setup my XP4 to use loc line. I'm hoping to use the standard rena parts to get over the back of the tank, then somehow convert that output, which I believe is 5/8" ID, to a 3/4" loc line interface, but do so in a secure way so I don't have to worry about it popping off.

Anyone attempted this, or have any ideas?

I have the standard rena hose going to a 5/8" hose barb on my CO2 diffusers. I was concerned about it coming off and used a standard hose clamp and it's been fine for about a year now.
