Just installed a wet dry filter system for my tank. The water level in the sump is about three inches up into the Bio balls. Is that right? I thought the bio balls were to be up above the water level. Is there anywhere I can look and see where water levels should be? Any help would be great!!

I have researched wet/drys from all the major MFGs, All-glass, CPR, Seaclear, and most all of them have some media submerged....Tidepool is the exception, but they have a bio-wheel, which would be submerged partially also...As long as the water is flowing trough the media, it will support growth...

I have built 2 wet/drys..1 as a test, wich is working, and cycling well, and 1 for this projet that i set up tonight
