it's the same as I have now. The 50 gallon and 100 gallon stock tanks. All I'm doing is removing the 265, making the stand larger to accommodate the larger footprint, and plumbing in the 300.

Shouldn't see any cycle at all. I do like the full length overflow boxes, but this will work great for you. I just did some HD video of my tank and sure wished I had starfire glass to shoot thru.

I just did spring cleaning on my reef and supplied the LFS with several bags of corals that I had to prune back...terrible problem to have, but I am pruning some of the explosive soft coral growth back to make more room for the SPS and LPS stuff to grow.

if its just a straight swap tehre will be next to no die off from the rock, the only difference is if he decides to use new water there would have to be an acclimation process for all the livestock, if he just puts the water in bins and puts it back and adds whatever he needs to add its more like doing a waterchange, not a big deal just a time consuming process

PM me. I produce a lot of pulsing Xenia, common anthilia, in two shades, and three kinds of mushrooms. Will post when I thin it again. I place plugs and small rocks near the main colonies and remove them to keep the growth under control. If I ignored it, a couple of the mother colonies would take over. The Pulsing Xenia grows in a special box I made for it in the algae scrubber and the wave action from the dump bucket really set it off growing like mad. Didn't grow in the display tank because of the competition. In a couple of weeks it will cover several square inches of egg crate. I use it as a raw filtration stage as the Xenia will pick out pieces of fish food.

So, a few more pictures. Some growth and coloration shots, even though I can't seem to get true color with this camera. I've had to use photo shop to tweak them a bit, because they come out too blue straight out of the camera.

First, here's the first post red bugs shot of the one valida colony. You can see the polyps are starting to come out again, and color is returning-

And the second colony...still a bit pale, but PE as well-

I ordered a 6 polyp colony of Duncans, and they sent me 6 single polyps, all fragged up. So, I'll be selling a few of these.

Yeah, I made a newbie mistake a couple months ago and bought a bright white BTA. It's a little greener now, been working hard to save it.

Sorry Doug, I am so behind.....how were you able to fix your tank problem? Thanks!

Nice photos/corals by the way, I really like that Aussie Elegance! (y)

Maybe it's just the extreme close up shot, but I've never seen polyp extension like that on a monti cap! Looks really cool. I really don't ever see the polyps on mine, but it's growing super fast so I'm not too worried.
