Angelfish spawn again

This time I removed the eggs from the main tank and have them in a rubbermaid container. We'll see how we do this time. The last time mom and dad ate the eggs. The time before that I removed the eggs but was moving at the time and the wrigglers didn't make it. Time will tell. :wink:
 
Unfortunately the eggs fungused, it's been too hot here I think and that is affecting the water temps. They will try again in about 2 months. :)

Did you add anything to prevent fungus? Acriflavin or peroxide work well.

When I took eggs, I placed them in a gal jar with an airstone.

I have 1 pair that I decided to attempt parent raising and am happy to announce sucess on their 2nd attempt!

I used peroxide, I've had success this way before but our temps have been 118 the last few days. The QT I set up was over 90F. I raised angels from this pair to free swimming fry before.
