I have a 29 gallon set up with
MSwordtailx1
Fswordtailx1
Fplatyx3
M platyx1
Fguppy x3
Mguppyx1
Mbettax1

And have been raising them for a year they have had plenty of fry which most of the ones above were fry from a previous generation except the swords and the betta which is a trial iv been testing to expand from just guppy and platy.
I have these fry which are unusual in color ..goldish with a hint of black all around . they just started appearing after I entered the sword tails but the female had no signs of pregnancy .. Unless they aren't as obvious as platy and guppy . these guys are much bigger then my guppy fry which appeared at the same time I'm a breeding net . I have them all in a 10g 4 guppy fry and 4 of these much bigger more aggressive fry .. What caught my attention is they are only 5 days old and fighting with each other? I have never seen fry exhibit this behavior. My guppy fry are either laying in the sand or swimming in groups of 2 .. These guys are usually in a corner or fighting around the plants .. Im assuming they are sword tail but again the female was showing no signs of pregnancy . I purchased them from a local fish store so no petco fish or petsmart

Way back when, I kept platies and swords together and nearly all the resulting fry were hybrids. For some reason the fish seemed to prefer a bit of 'strange' to mating with their own kind. Community tank and I didn't have time to try raising the fry separately, so I can't say what their behaviour was like. Most did not survive to adulthood.
