Breeding tiger barbs

Hi all,

Im new to this forum and I need some tips on how to breed tiger barbs. Atm I have seperated yhe males and females into separate tanks and I am feeding forzen foods.

So far so good. After the eggs are fertilized on the plants you want to get all adults AWAY FROM THEM. They WILL eat eggs and fry. Wait until they are too big to fit into an adults mouth to mix them. Of course, if you want the natural way, keep them mixed the entire time. You will get less babies because of cannibalism, but fertilization chances are much higher. Also, it only takes one day for eggs to hatch after they are laid.
 
The problem is that they seem stressed out since I have seperated them. They have lost their coloration. I will try to add some gravel
