Evil platie babies

My friend owns a 29 gallon that is inhabitated by nothing but platies. He has asked is if their are any fish that will eat the newborn babies and preferably stay on the bottom of the tank. Any suggestions?

I don't know about them staying on the bottom, but swordtails will eat them.

a pimelodus pictus catfish (be wary of this fish for its poisonous barbs) will eat the babies in most cases
