How to care for platy fry

Our platy had babies on Saturday and I have set up thus other tank for them, but I have questions:
Will the surface agitation from the bubble filter bother them?
It is a new set up, but I used water from the main tank ..... How long will it take to cycle?

Usual amount of time to cycle. And the agitation is good. It will keep the water login.
