Swordtail Breeding

Im thinking about breeding my male swordtail who is orange with a black tail, im wondering what colour female would make some nice coloured fry?
plus im a little worried abour my fighter, he is quite docile but worried he might stress out the female, i read up on getting a breeding net but will that be ok?

it will be okay if you put in 3:1 ratio. 3F and 1M, so that the male will not harass the female.

Thanks for the reply, i will keep this in mind but i did mean my siamese fighter i have in the tank not the male swordtail cheers for the input

I used to have a fighter in with swordtails (1m:3f) and he never bothered them if that's any help

Oh ok thats good then he does chase the male around every now and then but i usually see it just before they are fed so hes just grumpy when hes hungry thanks
