10 Gallon Tank Build

Well I got my tank from Advance Acrylic, and I'm a dummy and forgot to get a photo of it!

But I did start building my stand this weekend. The tank itself is 12L x 16W x 12H. The stand is 20L x 24W x 36H. I haven't quite figured how high I will have the arm that will hold the light canopy. I have ordered the AI Sol Nano Blue and AI Controller unit for the tank, so I will probably have the light about 6-8 inches above the water. Here are some photos of the progress.









Tonight I am going to finish staining the top and the shelf. I do have to sand and stain the outside of the base. I hope to have the stand completed this week.

Thanks! I'm pleased so far. The stand should be done by Friday. I have to work little by little after I get off work.

Just be careful with the acrylic. There are a lot of things you can't clean it with.

Will do...I plan on getting the Mag Float for acrylic tanks. Would that suffice?

I have a 75 gal. Acrylic. The mag cleaner scratched my tank. I started using Mr Clean Magic Eraser. It works very well just make sure you get the plain ones, not the ones with cleaner added.
