They don't pick on that lobster?

The lobster don't try to eat them?
They all get along great. The crayfish has been in there since July 11, 2012 - so almost 7 months now. No fish have been harmed and the cray has molted a few times with no issues. I wasn't sure how it would workout, but I guess I got lucky. I'm glad, too, cause the crayfish is super entertaining to watch lol

Oh ok its a crayfish. They have them labeled as fresh water lobsters here. I always wanted a blue one but could never figure him in in my community tanks. I just might try this when our cichlids get a lil bigger.

Same here i have 2 electric blue crays in with my yellow labs, and yellow tail acei and they all get along for the most part. the fish tried picking on them at first, but the crays stood up to them and hasnt been any problems since. And they can be very entertaining to watch, i love them.

If your cichlids are around 2 inches or more Id try now, instead of when they are bigger, unless your going for a full grown cray, though i dont recommend that because they dont live too long, and getting young you know you at least get a few years with them. But dont wait till the Cichlids are too big, might pick on the cray more than if you introduce one when they are smaller. Thats what i did, and all has been great with them, live in good harmony haha. Good Luck.

No we are restocking and the ones we are looking into are only like an inch if that right now. (They'd become the snack) but i I'm not sure when I'll get to restock at the moment so I might just get the cray now because my 2 yellow tail acie are about 2-2 1/2 right now and same for my lab. And than when I do restock the babies can go in my grow out tank the grow a lil. But I'm forgetting I have a African feather fin cat in there to duh me that's prolly why I never thought to try one with them.

My 125 after a rescape. Try to change it up every couple months just to mix things up a bit in the tank.
