I typed in almost all my stock and barely reached halfway stocking! I think I'll be fine!

I would guess it's a circulation issue. A powerhead would sort that out. The one that is on the most, is the return filter pipe flowing in the direction of that heater??

They both stay on pretty good now, I guess it just needed adjusting. I have a pretty good sized current in my tank right now too for the BB. I'm going to slow it down once the cycle finishes.

Good news.....

For once! Haha! It's been problem after problem but everything is straightening out. Cycle is even going faster than most! Only 6 days a d I ready have nitrites and nitrates!

Cool! My water has prob the fastest cycles in AA. It literally takes less than 3 days. I even tested my water out after 1 day with live fish ( black skirt tetras ) and they survived with unscathed. They are still alive in the same tank :p.
But for normal cycling, even 6 days is really fast (y)

Should I rearrange the driftwood? I feel like it doesn't look fully natural. Could be because I don't have my plants in yet. I'm putting a stump to the right and fish will be able to swim under it. Any suggestions?

IMO I would rearrange them. The dw that just sticks out of the sand doesn't look natural. What would make them look more natural looking is if the sticks were leaning against something ( large rock or larger dw ). I would also add some rocks here and there. And where is the floating dw going to go?

I was going to use the floating piece to help contain the floating plants. All the other driftwood have plates on the bottom. Maybe when I get plants in there, it will look better.

Yeah, it will most likely look better when plants are in. And what floating plants are you getting?
