I know! After so long! I got a bit of cleaning up to do, but at least i can get started with it! It was a good deal though! Came with about 50 lbs of texas holey rock, the Fx-5, 2 hob filters, stand, glass tops, heater, and some other misc stuff!

Haha i'm going with haps! I wanna try those out for a while! Maybe in 2 years if i get bored with them lol!!

Haha thanks! And yup hopefully! Gotta clean everything up, repaint the stand, get some sand and lights, then i think i'll be good to go!

Put some pics on my albums and i created a journal thread in the Freshwater-General Discussion section!

I managed to clean it up pretty nicely today, i'll post an updated picture! and Check out my journal thread and feel free to give me some advice! Especially on heaters and filter media for the Fx5!

Depending on where you live, Fantastic Fins in Livonia is a great place to find rare and obscure species, they'll also help find ones that you're looking for. Preuss' Pets in east Lansing is another good one

I've heard of Preuss Pets but not Fantastic Fins! I'm in West Michigan, so i usually go to Blue Fish Aquarium, and they can get some pretty good species in too! I may just order online though if i can find a good deal!

Hey Mogurako, if you want to chime in on my Journal thread, that'd be great! i have a few questions on there i'm pretty sure you can answer too!

Can/do haps interbreed with haps of different genera? So like could a protomelas interbreed with a copadichromis?
