I wouldn't really recommend anything "energetic" in a 10g. Either they'll wind up spooking the fry or take off at high speed and the next thing is glass wall and dead.

Sent from my iPhone that doesn't like me. Or you !!

Zebra or leapord danios. Very quick and tiny but not sure if they'll eat the guppy fry.

Not sure what energetic fish would do well in a 10g and not eat or disturb the fry, perhaps neons? Would a separate breeder net in the tank to isolate the fry be a better option? That way it doesn't matter what else is in the tank, the fry will be safe and you can keep track of them better.

Or fish other than bottom feeders what fish can i put in the 10 gallon

Are Celestial Pearl Danios the only fish that wont eat the fry and i decided to set all my fry free in my 10 gallon tank because my guppies had died from ammonia poisoning

What were the guppies in, and what caused the ammonia spike?

Another thing to consider is that most knife fish are nocturnal and hide most of the day.
