I'm a starter. Can you guys tell me if it's a good condition for my fish?IMG_0749.jpg

If those goldfish are commons or comets, they can grow up to a foot long. You NEED a good filter and air pump, as goldfish produce a lot of waste and need oxygen in the water. Those fish should be in a pond. Also, the water level is too low.

Well since they aren't fry you shouldn't keep them in that tank you should have a larger tank for those goldfish or a pond. Believe me, they grow huge. Also goldfish are already dirty fish and all the food and poop will sink in the gravel and will rot which will cause alot of ammonia to build up. Sand or a bare bottom is better for them. Saves you alot of trouble. Also like the previous person said, the water level is too low.

They are fantails I think

While Fantail grow a bit smaller than common, comet, and wakin goldfish, they still grow big. They usually grow up to 6 or if you're lucky (or unlucky) to 10 - 12. You should buy a 40 gallon fish tank or larger if you want to keep only those two Fantail Goldfish or a pond.

This is not a good setup for those fish. You should return them to the store where they were purchased.
Moving forward, you should read up on the Nitrogen Cycle, water changes, and filtration.

Actually,I have decided that I change the water twice a week 50% and I have a water conditioner

As for inches and gallons, just google "40 gallons to liters" and it will give a conversion, same with inches these fish can get approximately 12 inches long if cared for well, that is approximately 30cm.

Check this out and be amazed at how large the goldfish can get.

Gravel is a poor choice for Goldfish because they suck it up while eating and can get a pebble stuck in their throat.

You probably would be best to change 50% of the water every day right now until they get a bigger tank.

That is why you need a liquid test kit to test ammonia, Nitrate and Nitrite, to make sure the water is safe for them.

I am glad you are checking how to properly take care of the Gold fish so they don't get sick and / or die.

There is a good article for information on how to care for your tank, the link is the first one in my signature line below.

Wait the gravel is big enough to not be sucked into the fish mouth and I covered the small ones with the big ones

No.

And everyone has replied back that it is not and you keep responding trying to justify what you are doing. Sorry it isn't what you want to hear, but you asked.

They need a bigger tank and different substrate and daily water changes until the tank is cycled.

K
I just don't have a space in my house for a bigger tank no offense

Then find smaller fish that will live long and happy lives in the tank that you have.
