Hey, I'm new to plants tanks. My plants started to develop spider like tendrils, I think they are budding? I would love to plant the buds but im not really sure how to do that? Do I bury the leaves? Do I tear them off? Thanks for any and all help

Hello All, I have an established tank and recently one of my pictus catfish has taken to either swimming in place or just laying against the corner of my tank. He still seems to swim around at night (he's not in his corner when I turn the lights on in the morning). But pretty much anytime...

Thanks I'll pick some up. And yeah, since typically you need to half the dose I try to keep a closer eye on my scaleless fish. That way their own immune system can help fight back more easily and they don't need the full dose. We'll have to see but this little guy is not looking so hot right...

So this is just an update in case any future people come across this thread. I continued to do the half dose with the API super ick. Because the ick was so bad and the pictuse were getting lethargic I started to vaccum gravel twice a day, making sure the hit the locations the pictus and clown...

Yes, I would switch to high heat if that's a better treatment for the scaleless fish. I'm not sure. It just says "API Super Ick Cure contains an ingredient, Malachite green, which causes discoloration in the aquarium water" but I threw out the box already. I've used it before on scaled fish...
