    Are you sure they're all neons? THey could be a mix of cardinal and neon tetras since cardinals have a tealer stripe color. :)

    Get a refractometer. Its the only way to get truly correct SG readings, otherwise get a lab grade hydrometer. :D

    Separating a tank

    A word about those plastic dividers-they are very annoying and gather algae quickly. I also find that fish seem to find ways to go over the top or underneath the divider. :wink:

    Once had a swordtail who swam up through the output of an Eclipse filter (yes that tiny thing with water gushing out of it) 6 times and lived thru it all. 8O One week tho-wow. :o

    If it looks like white grains of salt, then it is indeed ich and u sould QT and use meds or a hyposalinity treatment. :)

    You have green water, aka Volvox. Cut out the all lighting for about a day, and dont feed for that same day. It shouldnt harm your fish too much, but a water change wouldnt hurt. HTH! :D

    I think she got burned and dried out, I think you should let her rest, turn off the lights in the tank, and add some stress coat to the tnak to help replenish the slime coating. GL :)
