I added one to my wife's guppy tank. He does a get job of weeding out alot of the fry, so the guppy population doesn't get out of control. He is fun to watch grabbing and hidding shrimp pellets, and he seems to be fat and happy. haha
I have a 29g with cacatoo cichlids. They are a great fish for that size tank. They are very easy to maintain, but once the are settled in they breed like crazy. They are not aggressive, except when protecting eggs. They are small and really cann't hurt anything. When more then one female has...
Parrot are not really anything. they are a cross bread and do not exist in the wild, right? Or I could be totally wrong, lol. I have never had them personally

I have had a bala in every community tank i have had, and they eat whatever. I feed mine mostly flakes and life brine about once a week. I have seen where some people have wrote that they are agressive and will attack other fish. I have personally never had a problem. my current bala is a...
i don't suggest adding copper, or any of those snail killing chemicals. they cause more problems than they a worth. I had a snail problem, and a clown loach or two will fix the problem quick. Once all the snails are gone you can just feed the shrinp pellets. they are colorful and very...
hi all,
Just wanted to say hi. I have been away for a few months. I have been obsessed with redoing my 120gal tank, and closely watch my 29gal with cacatuiode cichlids. Happy to be back.
