I had the same thing with mine. Hide for a week, then came out alot, but would disappear for days at a time. Down side was that when he finally did go I didn't know it for weeks -- assumed he was hiding (I still secectly expect him to pop out, but it's been a few months... :( )

Thanks guys. I may try a phosphate sponge. I don't think RO/Di is in my immediate future. I also adjusted the ph and may get another, since the worst outbreak is in one corner which was not getting the most flow.
