i have a 600 gal. pond with an 2 tiger oscars 1 albino oscar 1 jack dempsey and 1 red jewel also a pleco. My question is what should I feed these fish to make them grow to their maximum size the fastest? Help me out please.

Get an oscar they are really fun to take care of. You can hand feed them and give them live fish. But you can only get 1. ;(

i have a little bottle with aloe in it . It cleans the fish a bit and also the water. And you should have him in a bigger tank.

You should put the oscars in the 300 and keep the BRP in the 55 on its own.

You should seperate them. If you tank is smaller than 200 gallons I see why.

Okay I turned in 1 jack dempsey and traded the venustus for red jewels. Is that better?

Well to tell if its a male or female the male has a convex forhead and the female is like a regualar fish. And usualy the male will guard the eggs. Hope this helps you out!

I dont think so I have a tank with 2 oscars, 1 red devil, 2 jack dempseys, 2 venustus , and 3 pleco. And its just a 60 gallon and they are all fine together! [Moderator edit] Moved from other thread.

Im still a noobie to this but I have a 60 gallon tank with 2 light sets. I just got 2 Oscars yesterday and they are swimming happily. But my question is when can I turn on the lights and not scare them?

I got got 2 new Oscars today. When I walk into the room they are at the top of the tank swimming together. But when the see me they float to the bottom. What do I do to get them to not be scared of me?
