Hi, new here on aquarium advice. I have a blood parrot that is chasing the 3 tiger oscars around constantly! He's even going as far as grabbing and pulling on their mouths. How do I stop this, or what should I do? Why is he doing this?? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I plan on getting a 300 gallon down the road, but to start with these babies in the 55, they have plenty of room right now, I just don't know why the parrot is chasing all 3 oscars...

Most likely a territory issue. A 55 is bare min. for 1 oscar. Blood parrots can be easy going or very aggressive. You could try rearranging the tank with the parrot removed then reintroduce him. But if that work i doubt it will for long.

You should seperate them. If you tank is smaller than 200 gallons I see why.

You should put the oscars in the 300 and keep the BRP in the 55 on its own.
