The American Flag Fish should take care of this! They are among the the best for "Hairy algae".

I Use the Vacuum to go over the sand, it works weel for me! do not go to deep into the sand when you vacuum.

How do you know if your sand is alive or dead?? Also, I am afraid that maybe I killed all the Bacteria when I add up my Live sand (my tank was not cycle and I pour the whole Live sand at once) Thank you Loganj. Let me know if you think that my live sand is still alive Damien

Yep You need to measure your Amonia, Nitrite and Nitrate as well as your Ph and your SG. Good luck!

May be it is ich that your nemo is developping? It usually comes from poor water quality, as Fish freek said you should post yur water parameter.

It may be a stupid question but why people keep buying live sand after they set up their live sand? Is there any advantages of putting only live sand? Thank you jamal
