With the info from you... I was thinking / hoping to maybe get some of both tetras into the 10 gallon instead (skip the others). The tank is only going on my bedstand. I'd rather use my smallest tank so it takes up the least room. Haha.
I only wanted ramshorns because they seem to be the only ones I could find in pink/red... Hmm... I'll have to think about that though! Thanks!
I think the catfish is out of the question now. Hahaha.
I only want to set up one of the tanks and sell the other two... I am inclined to ask how...
Hello,
I have all the supplies I need for a tropical aquarium.
I know how to cycle the tank/set it up/etc.
I have all the plants and decorations to set it up with plenty of hiding spots and caves.
(I have three tanks available. 10 gallon, 20 gallon long, and 35 gallon...)
What I'm...
What are your water readings? Drop test results? I know algae blooms are one result of high nitrate. (Or maybe it's nitrite? I can't remember.) What ever you do don't use algae killing chemicals! They are super bad for fish. Otherwise everything has been said. Limit the amount of light...
My boyfriend got a Mud Turtle from Turtlesource for his 20 gallon. The males only grow to 3" long and females only get a little bigger. He considered a musk turtle and a southern painted turtle too for it. :)
PSHHH!!! $50?? Thats a rip off. I am TRADING a woman for one soon! Try craigslist for your area. I've seen them as low as $15 for the white/albino/etc. ones even!
All you need besides that is silk plants, solid decorations (places for them to hide) and dried blood worms, live worms, or pellet...
That is super too bad! I'm soo sorry to hear that. :(
I had a sick moor recently (black moor goldfish are particularly susceptible to parasites and the like I've heard!) He died too. I bought him because he was sick and I wanted to help him. :(
Betta? one betta? can also live with snails and shrimp. :) OR get a Axolotl!! They are beautiful amphibians and can live their lives totally in 10 gallons. (only get one!)
