So I picked up a new light for my ten gal...

So I picked up a new light for my ten gal...

It wasn't that expensive so I think I'll just keep it. Of course thats only if it will work for what I'm doing that is... It will work well enough to grow tropical plants though right?

So I picked up a new light for my ten gal...

I got the best light strip I could buy ( in this case the best being the most expensive.. I really have no idea ) and I'm not sure if it will be good enough for plants once I finally transition my tank fully. Its a power-glo 18'' aquarium lamp. It reads: High intensity aquarium lamp...

What types of fish do Angels get along with best?

Just don't put a betta in with them. I came home from work and my beautiful crown tail betta was definned and floating at the top. I was devistated.

    feeding Crayfish to Oscar

Go for it! Oscars love em and seem to know how to eat them by instinct . Mine used to bite the tail off and leaves the head/claws. Goes nuts too. Sadly there is the risk that he might pick up a disease....Also an oscar really has no need at all to be feed live fish when it can get a...

    Betta question

If you were willing to spend 10 bucks for a 10 gallon (at most wal-marts anyway), then you could get around 3 corydoras and not have any problems. I always loved this combo!

Ich Pealing Off! Is that normal?

That almost sounds like your ich isn't ich! Ich spots are fairly small and really shouldn't "peal" off....How large are the spots? Is there any way for you to post a pic? I can't be positive but that doesn't sound like ich at all. We wouldn't to treat a fish for the wrong problem would we...

    Getting rid of snails!

You could also place a piece of lettuce in the tank at night and pick out the ones on it in the morning, or you could wait until night and manually remove the wall crawlers. A combo of these two methods will be slow but in the end effective. Of course this is only if you don't want to...

    MTS out of nowhere

Well, I have always used mts's to mix my sand up for me . They mind their business and I mind mine. Most of the time they hang out in the sand anyway so it doesn't bother me. Its a give/take relation ship I guess...

Overdue Females and Confused Males - Mollies

As for the male mollies, they do that... Most live bearers get "frisky" when there are only males in the tank.
