+3 to the eheim skimmer. Only complaint is that they shoot micro bubbles if the sponge is clean and the power is maxed. I keep mine on the lowest power though and its perfect

For sure, I could see it in a 36-48" deep tank with a front to back measurement of like 3'. Imagine having 12" for foreground, midground, and background plants! Oh the possibilities

Blame Fresh for the octo. It is all his fault. He started this spread of this weed throughout us, and claimed it was a difficult plant... :p :lol:

I actually killed the pogo, and had to be resupplied. Turns out it doesn't like kanaplex/furan2, I had a 100% loss afyer treating with those 2 meds.

Some changes have occurred. Most notably the addition of seriyu stone, and it doesn't look like a chicken was loose in my tank (fresh ;))

I think it was the meds because I never had a mini cycle or fish or snails die (2 GBR, neon school, kuhli loaches, otocinclus, and MTS). If the water chemistry was off I would expect the snails and fish to show signs of distress before the plants would.

Recently I treated my 29 gallon for internal nasties and after 1 full treatment I noticed something weird, established plants melting away to nothing. The affected plants wjere my pogostemon stellatus octopus, cryptocoryne wendtii red, downoi, and r. inundatus. I just want to post this incase...
Wait 6 months and then try otos again. They need a well established tank due to the build up of biofilm.
