I treated my ich very effectively with heat and this stuff
but remember to remove the carbon from your filter.
Plus a good vacuum over the gravel and regular water changes
Sorry about the rubbish picture - they don't stay still for long!!
Today I found one of my corys with a red, sore looking patch by his fin. He's as wild as ever and doesn't look poorly in himself.
What should I do to treat it, or should I not worry and let it heal by itself?
All other fish...
What temperature would be best for my tank? I have:
Corys
Bn pleco
Neon tetras
Cherry barbs
Dwarf gouramis
I currently have it at 26c but I understand corys and barbs prefer cooler temperatures?
Tia
Thanks for your reply. I've been reading on the internet that some people feed twice a day - so I felt a bit mean. They do 'beg' for food when I'm near the tank but I guess they are just opportunists!
I feed my fish once every two days. I'm so worried about mucking up my parameters that I don't want to feed them every day. Is this cruel or acceptable?
Thanks for your reply. The gouramis currently appear to be getting on really well, will this change as they get older?
I'm very strict on water changes. Once a week without fail.
Bn is still tiny - she will go in my 4ft when she's a little bigger
If I move the barbs would it be ok? I'm considering putting them in the 4ft but a little concerned about the angels and ruby shark snacking on them?!
Can someone advise me if they think my tank is overstocked?
It's a 65 litre tank
-2 dwarf gouramis
-8 neon tetras
-6 cherry barbs
-4 corys
-1 bn pleco - currently tiny but will be going in the bigger tank
