i just purchased a Jebao DC3000 pump to use on a DIY skimmer, only thing is i have to mod the impeller and i can't for the life of me get the impeller off the rotor, has anyone figured this out? i don't want to pull to hard and risk breaking it, but i'm trying to pull it off and flip it around...

no its not remember there are pre filters pulling out chlorine and silts from the water, the RO membrane if cleanign whats left even finer, so youre already getting cleaner water to the RO membrane you're just shooting out the waste of the cleaner stuff.

i've never checked mine but ours is pretty bad also, my town is fed of of wells and we get the nice red iron rings around our toilets. when i change my RO/DI filters my pre filters are rust coloured.

i would hang it off the back but cutting slots in the back for a strainer would probably end up weakening iti'll probably end up doing it as an internal box, i'd just rather not see it and give it more of a cleaner look
