Thanks. I looked up fan worm and all that came up is feather dusters. This worm had a feather shaped tail fin. It was using it for propulsion, not as gills like feather dusters. I'm pretty sure it came in on some stuff I got from Florida. I'll see if I can find it again and get a picture.

Ball anemone is the common name. They don't really like light.

That is an orange ball tip anemone. Should note that they have very sticky tentacles and will eat small fish. Mostly nocturnal. Pretty cool though.

True, but the idea behind this design is to encase these boxes with aragocrete (homemade live rock) and then be able to remove them glueing and fragging. My last aragocrete project turned out awesome, but was not removable and gluing frags under water is a pain. Here is a couple pics of my last...

I want to make self contained overflow boxes that can be removed from (or added to) the tank. It will have 4 sides and a bottom and will not attach to the tank itself. This will not lead to a sump. It will be mechanical filtration mostleh. It will have 2 submersible pumps or one with a Y for two...

Update: ...they eat mud skippers... They are both about 18 inches long now and live in full saltwater. They actually have interesting personalities. They swim to the front of the tank and "wag their tails" when I walk in the room. They've never attempted to bite me when I put my hand in the tank...

Less than 24 hours later they are back in the display tank and are BFFs. The male is even occasionally doing the shaky shaky do me display dance for her. Now I have to buy them a nem.

Thought I should post my experience in case anyone is having the trouble I did. I bought a mated pair of gold striped maroons and after a couple months the male jumped out of the tank during a water change. I didn't find him until it was too late. Sad face. I saw a sale online for these guys...

So I've had the prototype running for over 6 months now and it is very low maintenance! The biggest flaw is the multi pumps. If one pump grate clogs with detritus then one side will drain faster than the other. So the pumps have to be cleaned regularly and since I made the compartments barely...
