    Milwaukee CO2 regulator problems

So after going through the setup process again, it seems like everything is working as it should. Needle valve is open all the way, and I'm getting 1-2 bubbles per second. Both gauges are reading "normal" values and it all looks good. Thanks for the input and the dialog.

    Milwaukee CO2 regulator problems

I want to remind you that the picture i posted is not my setup, it is a picture I found online to demonstrate and easily describe what I have. The gauge on the left, tank pressure, is about what the picture shows on my setup. The gauge on the right, that goes up to 140 PSI, is above the 140...

    Milwaukee CO2 regulator problems

The main valve, behind the gauges is open all the way. Once I had that open I have left it alone. Adjusting that changes the PSI on the left gauge showing tank pressure. if the main valve closes, the tank PSI decreases. The front knob is open, but at this point I can't tell you how far...

    Milwaukee CO2 regulator problems

My working pressure is above 140 PSI. Can't raise it anymore as it's above the gauge limits. I have my CO2 and lights set for 2x3hr intervals. 1 run in the morning and the other in the evening. I tend to adjust my needle valve near the beginning of the cycle and check it a few times during that...

    Milwaukee CO2 regulator problems

The left gauge (tank pressure) I was told I can ignore so I don't know, other than above 0 and at about the same level as when I last filled the tank. The right gauge is just past the highest level 10. I guess that's the operating pressure you are talking about. Here's a picture I found online...

    Milwaukee CO2 regulator problems

Hey all, it's been a long time since I've posted anything on the forums. Life has been getting in the way. Anyway, I have had a Milwaukee CO2 regulator for a couple years now. the problem I'm experiencing is the pressure seems to drop and my bubble count drops to 0. By pressure I don't mean the...

    Fluval 305 canister filter

I have a possible problem with my filter. About once a minute I hear air hit the impeller and a moment later a large stream of bubbles comes out of the hose. I checked all my connections and the hoses for leaks and found none. Due to previous problems I keep my filter inside a 5 gallon bucket...

    Excel alternative

Thank you. Like another member said, I'm going to fill up my old excel bottle and use that just so I'm not trying to use a gallon jug every day.

    Excel alternative

Hey all, I'm looking to buy some glut/metrecide but I'm confused about which one I should get. I was looking on amazon and one of the reviews said to avoid the 28 for aquarium use cause it contains soap, is this true? Anyone have recommendations where to shop for this?

    Canister or HOB?

Thank you for your response. I have cleaned it out, many times. I've used compressed air to blow out anything in the motor assembly as well. The way the motor has worked for me since I got it is it won't start at all if there is no water in it so plugging it in a few times won't do anything.

    Canister or HOB?

I have a well established 20g heavily planted community tank. The first filter I had was a Penguin 200 (I think it was the 200). The bio-wheel was having issues spinning and the water was not going through the filter housing effectively causing a lot of the water to spill back into the tank from...

    Small f.w. tank. Getting started

So, with the little amount of help the first response was, here's more info: http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f15/articles-to-help-you-get-started-with-your-aquarium-154837.html In that thread you'll find a lot of information about freshwater tanks. Cycling is important and without the...
